Getting started on this journey is perhaps the biggest challenge. While C-level executives try to get their head around AI, big investments are unlikely and also fraught with challenges. Initial exploration and pilots are the way to go, such as seeking an advisor from AI, and putting a toe in the water with a small pilot. Seek out initial hacks as a good way to get some visibility, understand the opportunities, impacts, risks and skillset development across business units and teams.
